Summer Enrichment Program

During the Summer Break, Mentor Teacher Brother hosts a 12-week program for our mentees that includes participating in fun field trips, volunteering in the community, and learning through mentorship, brotherhood, and fellowship. The program is open to children of all ages and grades. If you are interested in signing your child or children up for the Summer Enrichment Program, please fill out the registration form above.

College Tours

In collaboration with local high schools and colleges, Mentor Teacher Brother, Inc. hosts a 3 day college tour. In general, the tour begins on Thursday and ends on Saturday. During the three days, mentees are assigned to dorms, and matched with college mentors based on their academic interests. Mentees attend classes with their mentors, and participate in workshops throughout the day. Information regarding how to apply to college, applying for financial aid, and career choice are provided during these workshops. Mentees also have the opportunity to dine in the student cafeteria, access the student library, and participate in social recreational activities. Mock Trial Competition
During the school year, Mentor Teacher Brother, in partnership with local colleges and Chicago based law offices, hosts a Mock Trial Competition for high school and middle school students. Participants receive a mock case and work as teams as Defendants or Plaintiffs. Food and beverages are provided, and throughout the day, the students are able to experience firsthand what it is like to be an attorney. At the end of the event, two teams are chosen to debate the case against one another, and the winning team receives trophies.
